Located in the centre of the Granite Belt wine and fruit growing district only three hours drive from Brisbane this property is ideally located to cater for the backpackers fruit picking season. There is also room for expansion and further development being just off the New England Highway which links Sydney and Brisbane.

The land area is approximately 2ha and there are four buildings all located to the front of the property:
1. Main Hostel building over 2 levels with 37 beds
2. Smaller Hostel with 16 beds
3. Café with seating for 40 diners
4. Owner’s 3 bedroom residence

The business caters for backpackers during the fruit picking season which runs for 10 months from August through to May. The business closes for the remainder 2 months to carry out maintenance and also to allow the owners a good break. The business is easily managed by 2 persons.

The café has large cooking and serving areas and caters only for the backpackers at this time. It could also be opened up to cater for other tourist and local business.

The business is being sold with full inventory including 2 small buses which are used to transport the backpackers to and from the farms and to other local destinations.

The residence is a comfortable low-set 3 bedroom home located to the rear of the property.

The Granite Belt is an easy 3 hour drive from Brisbane and has 52 wineries that grow over 600 hectares of grapes. It is also a major producer region of fruit and vegetables which are distributed to all parts of Australia.
