Located right on the beachfront at Arcadia, Geoffrey Bay on Magnetic Island, Arcadia Beach Guest House was originally a holiday hostel for nurses. It later became a guesthouse and has been extensively renovated by the current owners.

The newly added accommodation consists of:

- Beach House (sleeps 6) 2 queen bedrooms and 2 bathrooms

- Outdoor Entertainment area with fridge, sink, lounge, tv and games room, bbq and woodfire pizza oven.

There is a small fleet of five cars for hire consisting of mini mokes, an open top VW and a 4WD Suzuki Sierra. Most guests prefer to hire a car from the guesthouse, so this really is an easy income stream.

Further income comes from the hire of equipment and commissions from tourist operators on the island.

There are no words or pictures that can do justice to what is on offer at this Guesthouse and many guests have commented that, although their website is excellent, it just cannot portray how stunning this little gem actually is.

Magnetic Island is in the World Heritage Area of Great Barrier Reef and is a short 20 minute journey by ferry from Townsville. Ferries run 16 times a day and affords guests the opportunity to take in the beautiful views of the island and Townsville coastline.

There is a domestic airport in Townsville with very affordable direct flights from all major Australian cities.

Arcadia is in the centre of the 16 beautiful bays around Magnetic Island and surrounds two of the Island's prominent bays, Alma Bay and Geoffrey Bay, making it an ideal base to explore everything the island has to offer.

A supermarket, pub, bottle shop, post office and bowls club are all within 5 minutes walking distance of the guest house and the bus stops right at the front door, although most people prefer to hire one of our cars. Or you can just step out onto the beach at Geoffrey Bay right in front of you and admire the green sea turtles that hatch there.
